2. Run Setup from CD-ROM Select “Full Install to this PC” to start installation and the setup will be finished in approx. 5 mins.

21. To close the application, please select “Exit and Shutdown Comms Server” in order to disconnect the Datastream host immediately without waiting for 600 second timeout preset on the settings. 23. Open Excel to add Datastream-AFO addin Tools -> Add-Ins…

24. Open Excel to add Datastream-AFO addin Select “Browse” to look for add-in

25. Search for AdvanceOffice.xla which is located at default path:- C:\Program Files\Datastream\Datastream Advance Open Excel to add Datastream-AFO addin

27. Excel addin appears as Datastream-AFO Open Excel to add Datastream-AFO addin

28. Test on getting data from Excel

29. Select ticker & start date (e.g. hk1, -12m) & click Submit to start downloading Test on getting data from Excel
