12 USE ANALYSIS TO SET NEW GOALS Drop – Shift – Change – Create 12 Drop a FR method that doesn’t work (direct mail for example) Shift a budget resource from one FR to another (a special event to spend more time on cultivating major donors?) Change staff job description to capitalize on their strength and emphasize another FR area (people person from grant writing to cultivation) Create a new FR strategy to expand donor base
