WHY SHORT-TERM ADVISING? Ensures students are taking classes needed for their degree Ensures they are registered for courses they are eligible to take (pre-requisites met) Answers transfer questions they may have

WHY IT IS IMPORTANT FOR THE REGISTRAR TO ASSIST UNDECIDED STUDENTS? Graduation rates in a timely manner Career success after graduation Helps students save time and money especially with new federal guidelines such as SAP
