2 Functions of CSI Business Office Assist student organizations with all facets of their finances related to segregated university fees Provide general advice/direction regarding other. Checking accounts/financial tracking etc.

3 SAC Grants Overview Segregated University Fee – fee collected from most students. SAC – Senate Allocations Committee Registered Student Organizations can apply for grants for (travel, events, operations) – Must meet SAC criteria

4 SAC Grants Overview There are two grant periods – Jan 1 – June 30 (Spring grants) – July 1 – Dec 31 (Fall grants) – Spring grant period begins Sept-Nov – Fall grant period begins Feb-Apr

5 SAC Grant Process Attend mandatory grant training Apply for grants online – via PantherSync Attend grant weekend and be prepared to discuss your grant Approval of grant by SA Work with CSI business office to use grant funds.
