You will see a 2 classes that have been created for you. AY 2014-2015 AY 2014-2015 Your class name Your class name The class with your name will be the class you will be using Click on the class with your name Click on the class with your name (that is the only class you will work with Your profile will now appear Your profile will now appear (Your class will not show any students because you have not enrolled any at this time). Click on “EDIT CLASS PROFILE”

Click on the “PROFILE” tab. Ensure that the correct grade level and FASTT Math is checked Ensure that the correct grade level and FASTT Math is checked. When finished, click on “SAVE” Now, click on the “STUDENT ROSTER” tab. (A list of ALL students at in the AY 2014-2015 file) Select your students by checking the box next to their name. Select your students by checking the box next to their name. This process will enroll the selected students into your class. When finished, click “SAVE” If a student that is assigned to your class does not appear on this roster, DO NOT CREATE THEM. Send Mr. Olvera the name(s) and student ID# so that he can add them to your class. The same goes when a student is no longer in your class or transfers to another class.

Once you have saved the selected students, they will now appear in your classroom. they will now appear in your classroom. Once all your students are enrolled, they will all appear here. The number of students in you classroom should match the number of students enrolled Once all your students are enrolled, they will all appear here. The final step and VERY IMPORTANT STEP in enrolling students is to click on “MANAGE ENROLLMENT” and enroll each student in FASTT Math. When finished, click on “SAVE”. You have finished enrolling your students in FASTT Math.

The student’s Username and Password should have already been created. To see what they are: Step 1: In the “STUDENTS” tab, click on one student at a time. Step 2: When student’s profile page opens, click on “EDIT STUDENT PROFILE”

The Username will be the student’s first & last name initials followed by the student ID number. You won’t be able to see the Password but it is the same as the username (student’s first & last name initials followed by the student ID number). If for any reason the password does not work, send the student’s name and ID # to Mr. Olvera

Place the student’s Log - In icon on the student’s computer desktop so they wouldn’t waste time looking for it. There are 2 ways: One way of doing it (the long way). (only if Menu Bar is visible) 1.Go to http://10.0.0.40:55880/slms/StudentAccesshttp://10.0.0.40:55880/slms/StudentAccess 2.Go to the “FILE” tab 3.Place mouse cursor over “SEND” 4.From the drop-down list, click on “SEND SHORTCUT TO DESKTOP” The second Way (The easy way) 1.Go to http://10.0.0.40:55880/slms/StudentAccesshttp://10.0.0.40:55880/slms/StudentAccess on any blank 2.Right click on the webpage (on any blank space space, not over a picture or web address) 3.From the drop-down list, select “CREATE SHORTCUT” (if “create shortcut” is not visible, right click again on another blank space) This will create an icon on the Desktop so students can log in quickly.
