Add Courses You can add courses during the first 5 days of the semester if space is available Complete an Add Form in Student Services or register online Obtain a fee statement and pay for the credits

Drop Courses You can drop courses within the first 5 days of the semester Complete a Drop Form in Student Services or via E-Services Students who receive financial aid should speak with their advisor to see if their financial aid will be affected

Withdraw from a Course You may withdraw between the 2 nd and 15 th week of the semester Complete a Course Withdrawal Form in Student Services You will receive a ‘W’ on your transcript No refund

Withdraw from College Students who withdraw from all courses by formal notification to Student Services may receive a refund 100%Day 1-5 of semester 75% Day 6-10 of semester 50% Day 11-15 of semester 25% Day 16-20 of semester No refund after 20 th day of semester See policy on refund schedule for courses lasting less than 10 weeks You will receive a ‘W’ on your transcript

Tuition and Fee Payments Spring Due Date December 19, 2014 IMPORTANT: Tuition statements are not mailed out. Balance details are available through e-Services under “Bills and Payment”.

Tuition Payment Options Students must take one of the following actions before the tuition due date: Make Full Payment Enroll in Payment Plan Have Active FAFSA on file w/DCTC Students who do not make arrangements for payment may be dropped from their courses

Payment Plan Information 3 Simple Steps to Enroll 1. Login to e-Services 2. Click “Bills and Payments” tab 3. Click “Enroll in a payment plan” **$30 payment plan fee

Courses Cancelled for Non-Payment Log into e-Services and click on “Bills and Payment.” If you see a RED STOP SIGN, your classes may be dropped for failing to meet payment requirements. If you see a GREEN GO SIGN, your classes have been secured. You will not be dropped from your courses.

Complete the Free Application for Student Aid ( FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov DCTC’s School Code = 010402 Review Student Aid Report (SAR) The SAR summarizes the data submitted on your FAFSA and indicates your Expected Family Contribution Available 3-5 days after FAFSA is submitted Financial Aid Process

If your FAFSA is selected for Verification, or if additional information is needed, you will be notified via email. No further action can be taken on your application until this documentation is received After processing the required documentation, you will receive a Financial Aid Award Letter via email Financial Aid Awards can also be found through e-Services. Grants automatically apply to your student account after the start of the semester based on the number of credits you register for. Loans require 3 additional steps before they are applied to your student account. Your award letter provides directions for completing the loan process.
