2. Characters Henry, Violet, Jessie, and Benny are the main characters.
Henry is the oldest out of his 4 siblings.
Violet is the 2nd youngest and is a very bright character.
Benny is the youngest, he is 6 years old.
Jessie is the 2nd oldest, she takes care of Benny and Violet while Henry is gone.

3. Setting
The book takes place in an abandon boxcar in the woods near a brook, and not too far away is a junkyard where they get their things.

4. Summary
This story is about 4 children whose parents die and they have nowhere to go. They are trying to get away from a man and woman that want to take them to and orphanage, when they find an abandon boxcar. They decide to live in it and it works out well. Henry gets his money by helping a man named Dr. Moore, do work around his house. Dr. Moore knows Mr. Alden, the children’s grandfather. The children don’t know that this man they meet is Mr. Alden, but they like him. Dr. Moore told Mr. Alden in private that these kids are his grandchildren, and he wants them to live with him. After a while when the kids get to know Mr. Alden they find out that he is their grandfather. Since he is such a kind man, they want to live with him. So they did!

I would recommend this book because it takes you on an adventure of 4 kids, and it shows you always to make the best of what you have.
