W HY I DECIDED TO GO ? Love travelling Learn new things Get to know new country, new culture, new people Get more independent Improve English language Get knowledge about Occupation Therapy in Netherlands

W HAT THE EXCHANGE PROGRAMME GAVE ME ? I became more independent I improved my English I got new knowledge about Occupation therapy I saw new country and city I got to know more about Dutch couture and language I met new people and made new friendships

M ORE INDEPENDENT ! Decided to take part in Au Pair Program in USA

WHY STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS CHOOSE TO PARTICIPATE IN STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES ? Student programs are more adapted BUT There is still not enough information (for students, exchange coordinators about supporting disabled students)

W HAT WE CAN DO We need to inform professors, coordinators about special needs and what is different about us Students with experience of exchange programmes need to tell other students about their experience

We need to give a chance to everybody who wants to participate in an exchange programme!
