Informal Lyme-Autism Study Testing Methods/Criteria IFA and Western Blot IgG and IgM were performed by IgeneX Inc. Patients were NOT screened. The criteria was that the child needed an autism, pdd-nos or asperger’s diagnosis PLUS some sort of immune dysfunction. It was attempted to get matching controls for each child. Samples were taken from CA, NV, AZ, IL,NY, NJ, WI, TX.

Informal Lyme-Autism Study 19 autistic samples were obtained and 5 controls Positive result would indicate one or more borrelia specific bands testing positive.
