I learned English, and I started working as a teacher. If I hadn’t learned English, I wouldn’t have started working as a teacher.

9. Conditionals Rodolfo’s team, Vitoria F.C., lost the championship. Rodolfo got sad. If Vitoria hadn’t lost the championship, Rodolfo wouldn’t have got(ten) sad. Freddie Mercury died in 1992. Queen disbanded because of that. If Freddie Mercury hadn’t died, Queen wouldn‘t have disbanded. Germany lost World War One. Because of that, they started World War Two. If Germany hadn’t lost WWI, they wouldn’t have started WWII.
