What leaders should follow: –Clear values and beliefs that are consistent with their own (Consciousness of Self) –A vision of the future that they share (Common Purpose) –Creative ideas that enable the organization to make change so that the values and vision can be realized (Controversy with Civility) –Other people whose strengths and talents contribute to the enactment of the values and vision (Collaboration)
