2 Let No One Despise Your Youth  Don’t say or do things typical of youthful indiscretion that would cause someone to disrespect your ministry in the Word. Instead, set a good example that forces others to acknowledge your spiritual maturity.  Don’t let the possible attitudes of others toward your age keep you from boldness in speaking the Word of God.

3 God Works Thru Young People  TO SAVE ISRAEL IN TIME OF FAMINE Joseph was age 17 when sold (Gen. 37:2)  TO DELIVER ISRAEL FROM THE PHILISTINES David was “but a youth” (1 Sam. 17:33)  TO LEAD ISRAEL TO ITS GREATEST HEIGHTS Solomon saw himself as “a little child” (1 Kings 3:7)  TO RESTORE THE TRUE WORSHIP OF GOD IN JUDAH Josiah became king of Judah at age 8 (2 Chr. 34:1-3)

5 What Character of Young People Will God Use?  THOSE WILLING TO FLEE IMMORALITY Like Joseph with Potiphar’s wife  THOSE WILLING TO TRUST IN GOD Like David in fighting Goliath  THOSE WILLING TO SEEK GOD’S WISDOM Like Solomon in asking for wisdom over wealth  THOSE WILLING TO HUMBLY SEEK THE LORD AND THEN OBEY HIM Like Josiah who was blessed for this

6  THOSE WILLING TO SPEAK BOLDLY Like Jeremiah who preached at the temple gate  THOSE WILLING TO BE TRUE TO THEIR CONVICTIONS Like Daniel who refused to compromise his beliefs  THOSE WILLING TO HUMBLY SUBMIT Like Mary who knew that with God nothing is impossible  THOSE WILLING TO SET THE EXAMPLE Like Timothy who would save himself and others What Character of Young People Will God Use?

7 Will You Become A Christian? Hear The Gospel (Rom. 10:17) Believe in Jesus as the Son of God (John 8:24) Repent of Your Sins (Acts 17:30) Confess Jesus as the Son of God (Acts 8:37) Be Baptized for Forgiveness of Sins (Acts 2:38) Live Faithfully Until You Die (Rev. 2:10)
