GNWS Purpose: To unite the women’s shelter movement globally to make change to end violence against women and their children.

4. 4 2 nd World Conference of Women’s Shelters Connect * Learn * Share NNEDV was selected by GNWS to host the conference February 27 – March 1, 2012 in Washington, DC Anticipating up to 2500 delegates from over 75 countries will attend Building on the amazing success of the 1 st World Shelter Conference Sept 8-11, 2008 in Edmonton hosted by ACWS
