40. A note from HIMSS:  HIMSS now offers two certifications.  CPHIMS Requirements – minimum of Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience in the field of Health IT. With a master’s Degree we require 3 years’ experience.  CAHIMS requirements – high school diploma and some familiarity with Health IT.
