To please It literally means But most people will translate as Me gusta la pizza or To like The pizza is pleasing to me I like pizza

GUSTA VS. GUSTAN When do we use the form “gusta”?
With a noun! Ejemplo: Me gusta . When do we use the form “gustan”? With nouns! Ejemplo: Me gustan singular el plátano plural los videojuegos
