Wolfgang von Rüden, CERN Petabyte Challenge ? An idea Demonstrate live the transfer of >1 Petabyte of data from the experiments via the Tier0 to the Tier1s. Is this possible??? Requires sustained transfer rate out of CERN of 3 GB/s during 4 days Show live network activity, instantaneous rates and accumulated data per site plus overall counter visible from the aisle. Connect to various sites via VC Runs from Monday 12h00 till Friday 12h00
