I can get a new job, too”  You figured out that you could afford a home?  You felt that your children would do well in a new setting or school?  You realized that you have what it takes for a new role? What if, you weren’t second guessing a search? What if, you realized you weren’t afraid?

6. Take a minute……  What is your greatest fear when you think of making a professional change?

7. Things valued  Why did you take your current job?  Why did the school hire you?  What do you value in a school setting?  What allows you to perform well?

8. Let’s get practical  What is needed?  Resume  Educational philosophystatement  References and letters of reference  Cover letter  Committing the time to the search  Having the resources for first visits  Practicing for SKYPE interviews
