I. He knows the deeds of the Church. It has little strength –Small in size Effectiveness is not contingent upon size –Powerful and committed Powerful impact if we are focused on the goal

I. He knows the deeds of the Church. It has kept His Word –True to the Word of God The Bible is the authority that we need to follow –Didn’t compromise in spite of pressure Pressure from the world to stray from the truth

I. He knows the deeds of the Church. It has not denied His name –Stayed true in the face of trial Strength and power comes from staying true to Christ –Profession of Christ never wavered Boldly confess Jesus as Lord

II. He sets an open door before the Church Holds the key of David –Kingly line of the Messiah –The One who is holy and true Character –Authority in the kingdom

II. He sets an open door before the Church Controls what is opened and shut –What He opens no one can shut His desire vs. man’s decision –What He shuts no one can open Risk of continuing to refuse the drawing of God

He sets an open door before the Church An open door that no one can shut –Opposition will be unsuccessful Cannot be closed by man’s action Cannot be thwarted by persecution –There is a door of opportunity Great opportunities for ministry Our spheres of influence are being enlarged –1 Chronicles 4:10 –Isaiah 54:2
