All rights reserved. 3 Financial Statement Presentation Core Principles Cohesiveness means that the relationship between items in the financial statements is clear and an entity’s financial statements complement each other as much as possible. To present a cohesive set of financial statements, an entity would present disaggregated information in the statements of financial position, comprehensive income and cash flows in a manner that is consistent across those three statements.
