Key Stage 1 Phonics 2014 Updates: We evaluated 2013 Phonics and identified areas for improvement: Confusion between Phonics Mark & Phonics Outcome when loading Confusion when loading results for Year 1 & 2 To improve on 2013 we have re-written KS1 Phonics

Levels From Threshold Key Stage 1 Phonics 2014 Updates: Automatically generates Attainment Levels Before the Threshold is released load all Phonics Marks (0-40) Once the Threshold is released by the Dfe (planned to be June 30 th ) use this function to automatically create your Attainment Levels Attainment Levels of Working Towards (Wt) or Working At (Wa) will be created based on the Threshold A report will inform you of any discrepancies Changes in Attainment Level Pupils where Attainment Level was not generated Add any further levels that can’t be calculated (A, D, L)

Phonics Individual Sheets Key Stage 1 Phonics 2014 Updates: Report has been created to mimic the Dfe’s KS1 Phonics Individual Sheet Inform Parents whether their children met the expected standard in phonics Uses ‘Enter once use everywhere Phonics Threshold’, if you have run the setup the Phonics Threshold entered in previous function will be remembered each time you run the Individual Sheets

Validate KS1 Phonics Key Stage 1 Phonics 2014 Updates: Validate KS1 Phonics and creates a file which can be uploaded to Lewisham There may be a late change in Phonics Validation (we are still waiting for further details)

Things to Remember when creating KS1 Teacher Assessments Key Stage 2 Teacher Assessments There are no changes for 2014 Assessments Some Schools have been randomly selected for a Science Sampling Test but this will be externally marked and not returned in the schools KS2 file. You will need to use NCA Tools for KS2 Upload We have re-written all KS1 & 2 Reports for a more consistent appearance and to mimic those supplied by DFE

EYFS Early Years Foundation Stage No Change since 2013 Assessment Event is included in the Assessment Templates which can be generated running WSSetup You can Optionally Use WSSWS to generate levels from Statements
