Objectives: so what and what next? o Reflect on and evaluate last year at pupil, school, Trio level Review the data What worked and what could have been better o Plan for individual in-school programme next year to integrate and cascade the learning from this year o Plan for Challenge the Gap Cluster and Trio leadership next year 2

Reviewing the year – key questions 1.Describe - what did you do differently in your classroom this year – with pupils, in departments, in Trios? List key activities. 2.Analyse - using the attainment and progress data, and your knowledge of the pupils, what was the impact on: a)Target pupils compared to the rest b)The wider Pupil Premium cohort c)The non-Pupil Premium cohort 3.Evaluate - WWW and EBI to successfully narrow gaps in year 1? 3

Reviewing the year - process 1.Split into three mixed groups. Secondary in subject groups. Primary join the most effective group for them 2.Nominate a chair and a scribe 3.Discussion - chair manages one discussion for each question and scribe completes separate flip chart for each. (Flip charts will be collected in and written up.) 4.Chairs – will be allocated one of the questions to prepare a summary feedback 4

Personal stories – an elevator pitch for the programme 5 Prepare a 2mins story of a child who has made significant progress or been changed in some way this year. Describe the change in them; and explain why and what has caused the change. Audience: your colleagues here and in school

Your PM agenda (1) – What next in your own school. 1.In Trio subject groups, focus on the in-school programme for your subject - school by school*: how will you as teachers ensure your school will narrow gaps and build on the learning from Y1 across your dept/team? 2.Then move to school groups to share findings and compare approaches for Y2 Discuss your school priorities for Y2 and strategies for improving and embedding classroom practice to narrow gaps How and when will you engage with your in-school Leader and Paras *Process - coaching triad: 12mins per school – c36mins). Focus on one school at a time; one interviewer; one interviewee and one scribe per school 12

Prepare for W1 What needs to be done now? share ideas as a trio; then work in school groups to agree next steps 14
