All groups then share their data and experiences. Students then graph temp/time on a graph for all three substances. Explain the interplay between atmosphere, land and water impact Earth’s climate, weather, and general circulation of the Earth’s atmosphere. Explain

Give each group a cup with an ice cube and challenge them to insulate the cube so that it lasts as long as possible under the heat of the lamp. Elaborate

Ask students to think back to the chocolate ball on the sidewalk video. Ask them to design and sketch packaging that will protect a piece of chocolate from the heat of the sun. They will need to include a materials list and reasoning behind their design. Evaluate
