3 Global Vegetation Monitoring Unit GBA-2000 General approach  7 co-investigators CSIRO, CCRS, IFI, CNR, UTL, GVM, NRI  regional algorithms for processing VGT S1 to burnt area maps  integration into a global processing chain ( at JRC)  processing of the complete global time series (at JRC)  production of monthly global maps & statistics (at JRC)  GBA2000 products publicly available (IMS at UNEP-GRID)
