Inspiring imagination for story content.

Write for 3 minutes non stop. Using a piece of A4 paper write non stop when your teacher says go. You can write sentences, words or letters but you must keep your pen writing anything that pops into your head. Even if you run out of things to write keep the pen moving on the page and form letters or shapes to inspire letters.

Answer these questions with the first answer to pop into your head. 1) Name an object

8) What is the problem/difficulty in the story?

9) Something sad happens in the story. What is it?

10) A noise happens in the story. What is it?

11) There is a smell in the story. What is it?

12) Something sudden or unexpected happens in the story. What is it?

13) Someone will try and solve the problem. Who and how?

14) Something happy happens in the story. What is it?

Now write the first three lines of your story. When you are finished read it to the rest of the class.
