Layout and Format Use A0 paper for your background Title in top centre in large font (~72 pt) Arrange information in columns Top left to bottom right Well spaced out eg. 6 - 9 A4 sheets on an A0 background

Content Brief title: indicate content State aims of research Give brief overview of method & results Use graphs & diagrams Summarise findings Include references & acknowledgements Keep sections brief

Readability Organise in columns Use large, easily read font: 24 point minimum Keep layout simple and clear Be sparing in use of colour & styles maximum of four colours & two fonts Try using PowerPoint to create pages Default fonts are of a suitable size.

Presentation Stand just to one side Give visitors time & space Have a handout to give out 1 page summary with key references Show interest and enthusiasm when approached
