Brings Strong Consolation
Forcible, mighty, powerful, strong
Encouragement, Solace, comfort, to call near

An Anchor of the Soul
Not the Body

5. Why is Our Refuge Sure and Steadfast?
Based on 2 Unchangeable things
God Made Promise, Impossible for God to Lie, vs.13, 17-18
Based on Oath to Abraham, vs.13, Gen.22:16-18
We can “Bank on it.”
Like Sunrise, sunset, change of seasons, gravity

6. Our Refuge Is Possible Because of Jesus!
