●What happened?? ●Years of pollution, different types of run- off, system failures and increased population have led to higher levels of pollution in the watershed. ●This is introduced into the watershed by streams, rivers and other wetlands that feed into the bay. Chesapeake Bay Watershed ●Why is this a problem? ●What could we do to prevent/reduce this? ●Break up into 3 groups of four students. ●Materials will provided to develop possible solutions. ●These will be possible solutions that we can do locally to minimize pollution reaching the bay from our area.
