A podcast is a series of episodes (think radio show) that can be downloaded from the internet for listening Subjects range from technology to genealogy to Harvard University lectures to grade school projects. Educators can use it for projects/assignments, teaching, subject mastery, alternative inquiry, and fun

Copyright 2011 CBE/C Johnson 16 Other ways to host a podcast Uploading of mp3 to server/host/dropbox.com Add a news feed (i.e. blogger host, then to feedburner) to a blog Some podcasting host services assist with all of this for a $/month. (i.e. solidcasts.com; podomatic.com etc)

Copyright 2011 CBE/C Johnson 17 iTunes podcasts Add your podcast feed to your iTunes “subscribe” list (do this in iTunes) When in iTunes your can import your podcast and then add a graphic and text tags for identification in iTunes.
