Dublin – August 2007 Main remarks on VAPE. Dublin is the starting point Funded by ERFP - 20K€ - 2 years. Around Belgium, France, Italy…... ……VAPE is open to all NCs.

Dublin – August 2007 General Objectives. Exchange of knowledge, experiences, ideas. Collect various successful (or not) case studies. Creation of a ERFP working group on "in-situ conservation" in Europe for cattle sheep, goat and pig. To better understand the factors affecting "in-situ" programmes.

Dublin – August 2007 Specific Objectives. Possible problems encountered by zootechnical or veterinary legislation and/or market regulations. Cultural biodiversity and protection of origin : a way of thinking differently about farming. Attempt to obtain a possible definition for "in-situ conservation" programmes. Possibilities to prepare a FP7 programme.
