The Questionnaire GCSE results provide target grades
Target grades are worked out from the average GCSE points score Target grades give students a point to start from. The targets grades are aspirational, but achievable. Because we believe you should aim higher.

Av GCSE point score and Banding
The average GCSE points score is produced by adding up your individual GCSE scores and dividing by the number of GSCEs taken: Grade Scores: A* 8, A 7, B 6, C 5, D 4, E 3.

University Open Days Find out more about your intended subject and University choices They generally start from March onwards and continue to first term of year 13 Posters up around Inglewood Make sure you investigate ONLINE at the various University websites Procedure: Need a permission form signed by teachers (collect from D9) You must catch up any work you miss

Learn about the academic subject you are considering (it could be one not offered at school, eg Biochemistry, Medicine) Find out what it is like at University It will look good on any University application Where? Residential courses (3 nights up to a week) Lectures / seminars / discussion groups / practical work / social activities Accommodation in University campus ALL costs covered including travel to / from event, meals, accommodation and activities Summer schools take place this summer holiday (mostly)
