7 DOT´98 September 1998 Heidelberg ACTS Programme AC338 MIAMI: Mobile Intelligent Agents for Managing the Information Infrastructure Scope of MIAMI The MIAMI project will focus on: o The investigation of benefits gained from the mobility of agent intelligence in the context of telecommunications management and ACI services, and o Implementation and validation of the MIAMI framework in a pan-European test-bed with selected network management and ACI service scenarios.

21 DOT´98 September 1998 Heidelberg ACTS Programme AC338 MIAMI: Mobile Intelligent Agents for Managing the Information Infrastructure Summary o The major goal of the MIAMI project is to develop and validate a uniform mobile agent platform with facilities for: o Network and service management and o Advanced communication and information services within a pan European trial scenario. o MIAMI concentrates on OMG MASIF Paradigm but considers also integration with FIPA specifications o MIAMI will contribute to the next OMG Agent Standard.
