THE ‘TRAINING’ JOBCLUB Fixed timing, 2-3 hr session Purpose-led venue, e.g. training room Scheduled guest speakers for directive advice or role-play Timetabled curriculum of topics over set period, possibly accredited Some selection of jobseekers Some support ‘on hand’

THE ‘FIND A JOB’ JOBCLUB Regular ‘window’, 3-4 hrs No fixed schedule of sessions but poss. occasional guest speakers Focus on applying to advertised jobs Purpose-led venue, e.g. computer room Selected jobseekers, all “job-ready” Some support ‘on hand’ for large group

THE ‘PRO-ACTIVE, PEER SUPPORT’ JOBCLUB Short, fixed session, e.g. 1 hr Informal venue, some resources 2-4 carefully selected jobseekers Agenda & schedule of topics/activities set by jobseekers. 1 facilitator Explore work choices & demands via direct experience and sharing ‘Back door’ approach to job negotiation
