20 VERBAL COMMUNICATION Partner –Collaborate with your partner about situations; pre-match and during play. Coach –All verbal communication should go through the captain (even if it’s loud enough for coach to hear) Captain –Use the verbiage of the rules. –Do not get into lengthy discussions where the captain runs back and forth across the floor to relay messages to the coach. Once is all.
