3 Reasons for studying a world language vary. Here are some common ones:  increase job opportunities  travel and connect to the world  learn about new people and customs  be able to read books, listen to music or watch movies made in another language  talk with people from around the world  expand your vocabulary  ¿y tú? ¿Por qué estudiar el español?

Follow the pacing guide that your Spanish teacher and facilitator tell you to.
