Background 5 year OS for locally advanced esophageal cancers (T3 or above, N+) is dismal

Preoperative ChemoRT vs. Post- operative ChemoRT This has not been studied in a randomized trial head to head Prefer pre-operative chemoRT Allows for tumor downstaging R0 resection Complete pathologic response improves survival Feasibility and Patient compliance ?
