ZXM10 EISU Training
2
Overview The ZXM10 EISU is an imbedded microprocessor system.
It can monitor supervision signals of various base station power equipment and environments in real time, generate alarms, and make corresponding control as required. it is capable of networking downlink base stations, and networking by making effective use of base station communication resources.
3
Description of EISU Models
The ZXM10 EISU (V1.0) is a series product.
4
Description of Common Models of the EISU

Functions In the basic configuration, the ZXM10 EISU provides 12 general AI/DI measurement channels, two general DI measurement channels and four DO channels to implement data collection and control of the unintelligent equipment. If an extended supervision unit is configured, eight general AI/DI measurement channels, two general DI measurement channels and four DO interfaces are added. The ZXM10 EISU has the dedicated sensor interface, where one digital temperature sensor, two battery channels for total voltage and one smog detector can be connected. The ZXM10 EISU provides multiple intelligent equipment protocol resolution interfaces to implement data collection and control of the intelligent equipment. (There are four to six interfaces and 20 intelligent devices can be connected.) The ZXM10 EISU has the picture supervision function. It provides two USB camera interfaces to process, store and forward picture data. The picture resolution is up to 640 480.
6
Functions The ZXM10 EISU provides multiple communication interfaces and networking modes. These transmission interfaces contain asynchronous serial ports, Ethernet interfaces and E1 interfaces. They provide the following networking modes: order wire channel, network, 2M protection ring, 2M chain, separate 2M and 2M extracted timeslot. The ZXM10 EISU provides the local storage function. The data within 15 days can be stored locally after the master communication is interrupted. The ZXM10 EISU provides the function of remotely or locally downloading the running program and intelligent equipment communication protocol program. The ZXM10 EISU has the functions of equipment self-diagnosis and fault self-location. The ZXM10 EISU provides the management function of real-time clocks.
7
Functions The ZXM10 EISU configured with the extended transmission board provides transparent Ethernet interfaces. The ZXM10 EISU provides the Web browsing function. The ZXM10 EISU supports the intelligent equipment center resolution function. The ZXM10 EISU supports energy saving for air conditioners.

Description of External Interfaces-EISUM
External interfaces of the EISU can be viewed when the cable cover is removed. The external interfaces are provided by the EISUM, EISUS and ETNM. The interfaces in the lower row are provided by the EISUM, and the interfaces in the upper row by the EISUS and the ETNM. The EISUS can change its location with the ETNM .

Serial Port/Intelligent Port Management
EISU has 7 serial ports in total.

Intelligent Analysis Settings
the red numbers are the order of the steps in setting intelligent analysis function. 1. Click the down arrow next to Serial Port box and select 2/COM1. 2. Click the down arrow next the Function box and select Intelligent Analysis. 3. Click the Smart Port Configuration tab for intelligent port configuration. 4. Select Smart DLL file config., click Select DLL File and select the intelligent device protocol file that you want to download. 5. Click Set as Smart Port. The configuration program starts downloading the selected protocol file. You will be prompted that the protocol file has been downloaded successfully at the bottom left corner of the window. 6. Click Read button. 7. Click Modify. A Set Serial Port Parameter dialog box appears, as in shown in Figure 3.2‑13. Input the actual parameter values on the dialog box. 8.Set communication protocol mode of serial port, simply select Timeout Receiving Means option button. Please note that the default setting is Header + Frame Tail (HEX). You need to select timeout receiving means by manual. 9. Click Set to complete serial port parameters settings.

USB Video Management If USB device is closed, then all management and operation related to this USB device are unavailable. If USB device is available, relevant operation may be done. Please note that each time you open USB, initializing EISU and setting up parameters of camera that it connects may be required. This process takes about 5 seconds. Description on part of control parameters Period of Alarm: When there are successive same alarm messages occurring from a certain channel, if the time interval between any two of them is less than the time period that you set here, they will be recorded as only one alarm. Need for Light Control: Select this check box or clear it to select whether light flashes or not when alarm occurs. If select it, then the number of the related Light DO Channel also should be set. Channels Linked with Alarms: it means the number of channels that need to be handled by EISU. If the number is 0, then no channel is linked. Otherwise, you need to conduct corresponding configuration to each channel. After inputting channel number (generally 1~10)

Access Control Communication Settings
22
External access control mode
Connect external access controller with EISU applied in dynamic IP networking. For example, connect CHD805AE in wireless dynamic IP networking or dynamic IP networking. 1. Set the serial port connecting the device as soft transparent; 2. Set up serial port parameters: baud rate, receive mode.
23
EISU built-in access control mode
24
Operation steps 1.Select the serial port that is specified on engineering drawing in Serial Port box, and select Access Control in the Function box; 2.Click Modify button to set serial port parameters. If Baud Rate is 9600, then the Waiting Time after Sending should be set as 2083; If Baud Rate is a value other than 9600, then the Waiting Time after Sending will be automatically set to appropriate value. EISU configuration program above V1.10 supports this function. 3.For receive mode, you must select [Header (7E) +Tail (0D)]; 4.Set Function Parameters of Access Control Port: Server IP and Port No. do not need to be set. 5.Door Magnetic Channel must be set as the exact channel that is connected in construction practice.
25
Update of Application Program and Driver
EISU supports remote downloading application program and driver. 1.On the Basic Setting page, click Open button to find the application program file or driver. 2.Click Re-download button and wait for downloading complete.
