NCRR CTSAs’ Resources CTSAs have built a variety of research infrastructures and resources (12 to 55) CTSAs aggregate vast intellectual power and expertise (24 PI specialties;194 research areas) CTSAs support 600-800 pilot projects each year and offer great collaboration opportunities to accelerate translational research CTSAs can leverage power of the consortium, deliver more team science and demonstrate synergistic values

NCRR Features and Desired Outcomes Trans-CTSA collaboration Using competitive revision applications (competing supplements) One revision application can be submitted for each active CTSA Funds available in 2012 Budget cap – $500,000 total cost Budget period limited to two years Establish and advance new T1 collaborations/partnerships Novel T1 hypotheses/concepts clinically tested Generate measurable T1 achievements and new research capabilities
