The need for telehealth (2) 15M+ people in England have a long-term condition (LTC) The most common LTCs are hypertension, depression and asthma Around 70% of the total health and care budget in England is spent on caring for people with LTCs (who comprise 30% of the population) (DH, 2012) M1/5
