Special Requests Remember, Special Requests will NOT appear in your Bookbag. There are two situations where a patron would need to make a special book request. The patron finds the title they want, but the KIMRC has never had a copy in the desired format. A Book Search does NOT find the exact or any matching title the patron wants. DOUBLE CHECK THE ISBN BEFORE SENDING A SPECIAL REQUEST.
21
The Title is found in a book search, but no copies exist in the desired format. Click Send Special Order Request to the KIMRC.
22
Because this title already exists, this type of Special Request will import most of the necessary title information into the Special Request form.
23
A special request will NOT be listed as a book order until it has been processed by the KIMRC. The KIMRC will research available sources of the book. If no sources exist, the KIMRC will determine if the book will be produced. You may be requested to send in the textbook or information about the textbook for the KIMRC to use in the production of the book. Choose the delivery location for this book.
