Year 2012 = active ageing year (Implementation of projects to solve seniors’ difficulties + Realization in the framework of a European cooperation WHY? 35 % of the population in the E.U > 50 years old between 2005 and 2050 Number of people + 85 years old x3 by 2050 More and more difficulties for seniors

The Strategy Europe 2020 (=Main project to solve difficulties) Increasing the life expectancy by 2 years within 6 years (2014-2020) Providing 75% of 20-64 people with a job Saving at least 20 million people from poverty and social exclusion.
