2 Minnesota Conservation Corps 8 week residential program Employs hearing, deaf, and hard-of- hearing youth Youth work in teams of 7-9 to accomplish high priority natural resource projects

3 Minnesota Conservation Corps 15-20% of youth are deaf or hard of hearing Hearing youth learn American Sign Language Cultural and communication barriers are crossed
