(Qur’an, 3:134) ……and those who restrain [their] anger and pardon men; and Allah loves the doers of good [to others] وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ وَاللّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

The medicines of anger after one gets angry A mixture of knowledge and action

The cure based on knowledge is of six kinds:

The first medicine of knowledge 1 To think over the rewards of suppressing anger

The second kind of medicine based on knowledge 2 To fear the punishment of Allah

Fear Allah’s punishment

The third kind of medicine of anger based on knowledge 3 Fear of revenge from the person you are angry at

What if your enemy decides to take revenge on you???

The fourth kind of medicine based on knowledge 4 To think about the ugly face of an angry person

The fifth kind of medicine based on knowledge The devil’s insinuation: “You are weak if you do not get angry!”

They should implement the three most important Islamic methods of Anger Management. What should they do???

(m1) saying the word of protection: a`ûdhû billâhi min ash-shaytân ir rajîm

(m2) changing bodily posture: when angry: sit down if standing and lie down if sitting.

(m3) washing the face, arms, hands etc: make ablution with water
