SPR standards  Existing SPR standards (already released by SC189/WG53) are providing safety and performance requirements for transition of ATS communications within a given airspace –ED120/DO290 within domestic airspaces –ED122/DO306 within oceanic/remote airspaces  SC214/WG78 will provide safety and performance requirements for transition of ATS communications between all types of airspaces

BUT existing Interop standards (already released or planned) does not cover the interoperability for bilingual aircraft  FANS aircraft transitioning between two adjacent ATSUs among FANS ATSU (ED100A/DO258A), ATN B1 ATSU (ED110B/DO280B, complemented with ED154/DO305), SC214/WG78 ATSU (ED/DOYYY SC214/WG78 Interop, complemented with ED/DOZZZ SC214/WG78 Mixed Interop),  ATN B1 aircraft transitioning between two adjacent ATSUs among ATN B1 ATSU (ED110B/DO280B), SC214/WG78 ATSU (ED/DOYYY SC214/WG78 Interop),  SC214/WG78 aircraft transitioning between two adjacent ATSUs among ATN B1 ATSU (ED110B/DO280B), SC214/WG78 ATSU (ED/DOYYY SC214/WG78 Interop).
