Scorer’s Table Team A BenchTeam B Bench Rule Tip Of The Week: If a player is holding the ball with 2 hands & loses his/her balance and while they’re holding the ball, the ball touches the floor, this is NOT a dribble. They can regain their upright position and legally begin to dribble, providing they did not touch the floor with anything other than the hand or the foot, and they did not travel while completing these actions.

C reports from backcourt reporting area, then goes down and becomes new Lead. Trail stays trail, now opposite table at spot nearest the foul. The old Lead becomes new Center. Scorer’s Table Team A Bench Team B Bench Presenting The Ball To A Player: On Base Line when going the other way & on the sideline, bounce the ball to the player with 2 hands from 4-6 feet away & step back if necessary. Make sure that you are out of bounds and not on the court. A 2 A 3 A 5 A 4 B 5 B 4 B 2 B 3 B 1 In High School, At NO time does the Lead administer a sideline out of bounds throw in, no matter how deep it is. The Trail ALWAYS administers a sideline throw in.

Scorer’s Table Team A BenchTeam B Bench The Center starting position is free throw line extended, heels just ON the sideline, and step in, up or down a couple of steps as necessary as play dictates to get proper angle on play If you have players in a matchup & have to move towards the division line, (more than 3-4 steps above key, if necessary) do so & force the Lead to rotate and transition to new Trail

Stay parallel to baseline at all times.
