No existing Provox hardware is kept (I/O File – I/O card – I/O panel – I/O cable) Existing Provox I/O panels are replaced by new IOPs which are electrically and mechanically fully compatible Existing wiring is kept in place Time for HW migration from an old toward a new I/O panel : about 30mn per panel I/O card and I/O panel to be removed FMS-PVXCL-DV-1 Provox 20 series > DeltaV Using IOPs

Process I/Os Secondary DeltaV Highway Cntrl PS I/O1 I/O2 I/O3 I/O4 I/O5 I/O6I/O7 I/O8 Primary DeltaV Highway The new DeltaV architecture is installed The new FIRELEC I/O cables are installed between IOPs and DeltaV I/O cards The new IOPs are installed using the existing mechanical structure of the cabinets (30 mn per panel) FMS-PVXCL-DV-1 Hardware to be installed New I/O panel

FMS-PVXCL-DV-1 Advantages The main advantages of the IOPs panels for PROVOX migration are as follow : Existing wiring is just disconnected and reconnected without any change at the same place (same terminals with same labelling and same electrical features) The existing loop drawings are kept without any modification, allowing all maintenance processes and procedures to remain unchanged.
