For all of the following cases only ONE NiTi rotary instrument was used per tooth (not a pack of 4-6 instruments) after hand preparation with #8, 10 and # 2 (series 29) At the end of each case, only ONE rotary instrument will be discarded With a RECIPROCATING movement, fracture by taper-lock (binding) is virtually eliminated With the standard (mainly clockwise rotational) techniques it may be quite complicated (if not impossible) to place an instrument as large as an F2 at WL in many of the following cases

F2 in MB and DB; P: # 08, 10, size 2 (series 29) then F5 followed with #70

F3 in all canals

F2 in MB; 1 year follow-up

All canals: #08, 10, 2 (series 29= 12.9) then F2; one F2 for all 4 canals

MB: files 8, 10 and 2 at WL then F3; 1 year follow-up

MB: # 8, 10, 12.9 and just an F2!! P: # 8, 10, 12.9 and just an F5

F2 in canal

F2 in M canals; F3 in D F2 in B canals; F3 in P

F2 in all canals One F2 for each case Rotary instrumentation has become inexpensive
