Quantities can be worked out easily for Standard Library of RCC Objects using FORMULATOR

Select NEW PROJECT Option from PROJECT Menu to Create a New FMDB file.

By Default New Folder is Created in BQ2009Projects folder

Enter Project Code Name as PROJECT2

Select YES Option for Copying Definitions of Library Objects from MASTER FILE which has come with the package.

MASTERRCC.fmdb file is available in folder C:\Program Files\Ensoft\BuildQuant 2009\Formulator MASTERRCC.fmdb file is available in folder C:\Program Files\Ensoft\BuildQuant 2009\Formulator

A New file PROJECT2.fmdb will be created without any Objects

Select ADD OBJECT from EDIT menu to add data for a Sample Object Beam.

MASTERRCC.fmdb file contains Formula for Calculating Quantities Types of RCC Objects Listed above. User can ADD new. Enter Object Name as B3 and Object Nos. as 1

Tick Option Show Object Type Sketch to Display Sketch of BeamWithFactorLength ContinuousToBoth while making data entry.

Enter Dimensions of Object B3 as desired. Object Sketch displays variable names.

Program Calculates Quantities of Object B3

Right Click on the View (Or Click Edit Menu) and Select ADD OBJECT to add another

Select Object Type ColumnRCCRectangle with With08BarsLinkType1 for Column

Enter Object Name as C8 and Object Nos. as 1

Press OK to Proceed Further.

Enter Column Variable Data as Shown for generating Column Quantity

Right Click on the View (Or Click Edit Menu) and Select ADD OBJECT to add Plinth Beam

Select Object Type BEAM DISCONTINUOUS on BOTH ENDS for a Sample Plinth Beam

Enter Object Name as F5 and Object Nos. as 1 there is 1 Footing

Enter Footing Object Dimension data as shown. Program will calculate Quantities for Footing

Add Slab S1 of Type SlabWithBentUpBars CantileverSlab

Right click on View and Click on Show Details to see the detail calculations
