Walk the Walk Ephesians 4:1-2
I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, urge you to walk worthily of the calling wherewith you were called, with all humility and gentleness, bearing with one another in love; When we give our lives to Jesus He asks us to repent, This is not just saying sorry for the past, we can all regret our past, we are asked to turn around. We are going in a new direction, travelling a new path, one that is different to the world. We should be sure which road we are on. Paul urges us the church to walk in a new way. A walk empowered by His spirit and under His GRACE.

Romans 6:1-4 What shall we say then? Shall we go on sinning, that grace may increase? God forbid. We died to sin, how can we live in it any longer? Or are you ignorant that all we who were baptised into Christ Jesus were baptised into his death? We were buried with him through baptism unto death: that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. 1 John 1:5-9 This is the message we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. We are meant to live a holy life. A LIFE that put us into new relationships, with Him as Father and with His children, You are never meant to walk alone!

We do this together! Ephesians 4:15-16
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. We need each other and we need each other to be living rightly. “Instead” of continuing in sin, grow up. Each one of us has a unique part to play in His body and kingdom, don’t rob God and the people you love.

Old truth’s given new life in Him
Malachi 3:8-11 "Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me. "But you ask, `How do we rob you?' "In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse; the whole nation of you; because you are robbing me. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit," says the LORD Almighty. The Scribes & Pharisees tithed and fasted but missed out on the promises of God. Why, because they did it out of religious pride not with humble submitted hearts. Look how great His promise is.

Isaiah 58:5-11 Is this the kind of fast I have chosen, only a day for a man to humble himself? Is it only for bowing one's head like a reed and for lying on sackcloth and ashes? Is that what you call a fast, a day acceptable to the LORD? "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter; when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. "If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Fasting is more than missing a meal or two. My definition: denying my own flesh to serve His kingdom by serving others.

Ephesians 4:17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. Ephesians 4:22-24 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. We need to have a completely new way of thinking. We can get stuck like religious leaders of the past with wrong thinking. We must make a conscious choice to embrace a Godly way of thinking and living.

Think right – Walk right
Romans 12:1-2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is; his good, pleasing and perfect will. Listen to Him and His word and let your action be true worship to Him . John 4:23 "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. John 4:24 "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

Walk His way Ephesians 5:1-2
Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. 2 Cor 5:7 for we walk by faith, not by sight.. Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please {Him,} for he who comes to God must believe that He is and {that} He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. 1 Cor 13:13 But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

A spiritual walk 2 Corinthians 10:3-4
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh (for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds) , Galatians 5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the desires of the flesh. Dead to the flesh alive to the spirit (Born again)

Walk with Him – Know Him Galatians 5:25
If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit . Colossians 1:10 to walk worthily of the Lord, pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Learn to follow the spirit, listen to Him get to know Him, love Him. Please Him.

Hearing His Voice John 10:3
The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to His voice. He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out. Isaiah 30:21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it." You can hear Him, He will lead you in the right path if you will listen.

Obedience the key! Luke 6:47-48
I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice. He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When the flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. The word of God is meant to change you. Who you are and what you do. Able to stand against the flood tide of the enemy If you are the same as you were before, living the same life then you haven’t obeyed His word.

A walk of freedom 1 John 1:6-7
If we claim to have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. We are set free from the power of sin over our lives.

Ps 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path
Psalm 119:65-68 Do good to your servant according to your word, O LORD. Teach me knowledge and good judgment, for I believe in your commands. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word. You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees. God is good, His ways are good, don’t walk in darkness any longer, flee it!
15
Walk in the promises of His word
Psalm 103:1-5 Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits; who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. Constantly remind yourself of what His word says about you.
