9  Complete a Five Senses Poetry Graphic Organizer together.  Call on students to complete the organizer.

10  Complete the Five Senses Poetry Graphic Organizer individually.  Use the graphic organizer to create your own five senses poem.

16  Use the graphic organizer to draft a five senses poem as a class.  Each of the five senses on the graphic organizer will be used for one line of the poem.

17  Write a five senses poem rough draft using your completed graphic organizer from the prewriting assessment.
