7. LIFE Ability Center The Learning, Independence, Friendship, and Employment Ability Center works to provide a safe, comfortable environment for individuals with developmental disabilities. The goal of the center is to assist individuals in having productive and valued days and enhancing individual’s abilities. Activities center around 4 key areas: Life Skills, Recreation, Education and Training, and Vocational Exploration. Funds in the past have gone towards developing Employment, Personal Care Attendants and Day Habilitation, Temporary Residential Support Programs, and General Relief. Truman students are also the Center's largest pool of volunteers. Baldwin Auditorium Baldwin Auditorium is intended primarily for Truman State University's educational and cultural events. A portion of the Homecoming Philanthropy money will be donated to assist in making the necessary repairs that the budget cannot accommodate. *50% of philanthropy money will go towards the LIFE Ability Center and 50% will go towards Baldwin Auditorium repairs* Food Bank The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri *Only for CANstruction Event* Homecoming 2014 Philanthropies
